That is to say if you are in a hurry to find a job and start working than you might go through an online course with heavy home study which will bring you up to speed with most of the things you need to know. The problem with this approach is that most attorneys do not appreciated online diplomas so it may be difficult to impress them with your studies. So if you think you need that your forte be your studies than you might want to go with one of the very few four year university programs that offer degrees in paralegal studies.

Whatever you chose remember that we are by no means saying that the paralegals studies you can obtain are useless but that they do not offer any chance of finding a job. And, in fact, you should focus on getting the attention of an attorney as much as you go about getting a solid education in the field because, otherwise, you may see people who have no diploma to speak of getting hired before you because they have proven to the hiring attorney that they can do the job without any paralegal studies.
